LIME RASAM

Ingredients:

Lime
Tomatoes
Green chillies
Ginger
Dhal water
Turmeric
Salt


Make about two cups of dhal water. Add turmeric and salt
Mash tomatoes, green chillies and ginger in a blender
Add the paste to the dhal water and let everything boil for a few minutes
Do tadka ( mustard, jeera and asafoetida)
Once it cools down, squeeze a lime
Garnish with curry leaves and cilantro
