GREENS SAMBHAR

Ingredients:

Greens - 1 bunch
Tamarind - lemon size
Tomato - 1 medium sized
Turmeric - a pinch
Sambhar powder - 11/2 to 2 spoons
Salt as required

Wash and cut greens in microwave for 5 to 7 minutes with a pinch of turmeric and sugar and keep aside
Heat oil in a kadai. Do tadka (Mustard and asefoetida) and then add sambhar powder, tamarind juice, mashed tomato, cooked greens, salt and bring to boil.
